Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a medical disorder that can occur to anyone after experiencing an extremely stressful situation. Soldiers aren't the only ones to suffer from this condition. As with any casino game, many people have tried to come up with playing systems for Baccarat. Is there a good system? Yes and no. Any system is technically good if you enjoy playing it. And no system is perfect.

Many have suggested that you should just walk up to the Baccarat table, bet on Bank, pay your commissions and go home. Having done this strategy, I can tell you that it's ridiculous. First of all, it's boring as heck. Second, who say the Bank will win more during your playing session?

As you may know or have guessed, Baccarat lends itself to streak system players. When you walk up to the Baccarat table there's usually a hand tracker (computerized or paper form). You'll soon find yourself noticing trends, such as the Bank has never won four consecutive hands or this shoe seems to be back and forth.

One thing I like to do is to walk up and start playing the Bank. Once I hit three wins in a row, I'll switch to the Player for a bit. When I hit three wins consecutively on the Player, I'll swap again-and back and forth. Is there any thought to this strategy? No, not much. However, it's fun and it has worked.

Another strategy is to play as you want, but pay attention to streaks. Has the Bank never won four hands consecutively this shoe? If not and it just won three, jump over the to the Player. With this strategy, you're hoping that history repeats itself.

So, what are the probabilities of either side winning? It depends on the number of decks being used. Almost all shoes use 6 or 8 decks.

With an 8-deck shoe, the Banker has a winning probability of 45.8% and the Player has a winning probability of 44.6%. The probability of a tie is roughly 9.5%.

Should the game use a 6-deck shoe, the probabilities are just about the same. In fact, the difference is extremely small. For instance, the actual winning probability on an 8-deck shoe for the Banker is 45.859. Go down to a 6-deck shoe and the probability only increases to 45.865.

Since we know the probability on any hand, we can conclude that the probability of the Banker winning four times consecutively is roughly 4.4%. It's this low number that makes many Baccarat players-who know probabilities-to play against streaks.

If BankPlayer has won three hands consecutively, the probability of BankPlayer winning a 4th is low, therefore bet the opposite.

Whatever you do, don't progressive bet. In other words, don't double up your wager after each loss (1-2-4-8-etc). That's a recipe for disaster.

Baccarat can be exciting, just keep things in moderation. And if you find a playing strategy boring, don't play that way. You can win at Baccarat using many methods. Pick the style that's most fun to you.

If you believe that you are in this situation, take a deep breath and calmly review your techniques and approaches and consider whether you have fallen into any of the following SEO fallacies and myths.

--- Invisible Text and Meta-Tags ---

As a standard practice, web masters include their sites key words or phrases in their meta tags, and stop there, believing that this is all that needs to be done. It isnt.

If you wish to increase your pages relevance to search engine queries, the keywords must be incorporated into your sites contents as well. Admittedly, search engines can see these hidden words and codes and do factor these in when ranking your page. Bear in mind, however, that search engines consider keywords within page contents to be more important than meta tags.

As a compromise, many web administrators and designers use invisible keywords using text colors similar to the page background, which make them undetectable to human eyes but readable by search engines thus increasing keyword relevance.

What administrators and designers dont realize is that these keywords, if visible, could be used as anchor texts, or as links to other pages on the site which would increase overall site relevance. Worse, invisible text is considered a borderline SEO technique some search engines may view this as bad hat SEO and actually ban your site from their search results!

--- Offsite Page Design Techniques ---

Many web administrators are overly-focused on web design to the exclusion of other SEO techniques that would have boosted search engine relevance. It is true that websites should have keywords integrated into their page contents so as to increase the pages relevance to a search engine looking for that specific keyword. However, webmasters should not limit themselves to page contents. Using relevant keywords in page titles and headers help improve search relevance, and increase the pages rankings.

Having highly relevant and informative content complete with keyword-intensive titles, headers and pages is not the end of it all. Search engines are now giving more weight to link popularity and relevance. In other words, it is not enough for a webmaster or designer to provide appropriate content and high keyword counts he should start working towards increasing his sites inbound links, especially from well-known or popular websites that have relevant content.

--- SEO Return on Investment ---

The biggest problem of many web administrators is impatience, especially when it comes to their estimates on when their hard work will pay off in terms of improved page ranking. In a way, this is the major misconception accompanying search engine optimization strategies: that implementing these techniques will result in a quick and easy return.

The truth is that SEO measures do not give immediate results; oftentimes, theyll take weeks or even months before an improvement in page rankings can be appreciated. The bottom line, however, is that page rankings will improve once appropriate and properly implemented SEO measures are implemented.

The lesson to be learned here, perhaps, is that search engine optimization is not a single undertaking that, put into practice, is finished. Effective SEO implies a constant, continuing process aimed at striving for improvements in design, performance, and technique even as you wait for previous efforts to bear fruit.
